Recently Star-Trib changed delivery to carrier from the USPS.
They merely drop the paper ( inside a plastic bag) at the end of driveways. I consider this littering, and wrote them. Here is my response:

Please be advised this can take up to 2 weeks. I do applozie about the placement of TCV it is only required to be delivered to the driveway or property line.

If you disapprove of the new delivery method that results in bags all over the streets- littering, let them know as I did.

I called the Strib to complain and stop this delivery when it began.My irritation and frustration grew exponentially when a second bag appeared within an hour or two after my removal of the first! Of course, it arrived again the following week. I now wrote them an e-mail again asking them to stop delivery. I see copies in the street and some floated down the street gutter and were headed for the storm drain in the monsoon rains last Saturday. I consider this littering and wish the city would address the problem.

Please stop deliver at 6200 - 5th Street NE, Fridley. This is a senior building. Also stop delivery at Brandes Place buildings. I also have asked to have delivery stopped. It has been almost a month! I have still had papers in our driveways. We have two driveways and I think you think we are two different homes. I have explained we are one in the same. Please stop!
