The Radisson Hotel of Roseville is hosting an "American Girl Tea Party" event and luncheon from noon to 4 p.m. Satuday (Jan. 19).
"This is a new event," said Nancy Jacobson, the Roseville Radisson's catering manager. "Something fun for grandparents or parents to do with their children and perhaps their friends to be pampered and relax after the holidays.
"We scheduled it for a long week-end too as Martin Luther King Day is the following Monday and the children won’t have school," Jacobson added. "We will have other fun activities during the luncheon/tea…hair braiding, crafts, vendors, etc."

It would have been nice to have this information a little earlier. Your email literally just arrived in my inbox. Same with Kirkland opening. We were in there before Christmas. Seems like old news more often than not.

Actually, we first posted a short story about the Amercian Girl Tea Party event this past Monday( Jan. 14). The item has has also been listed for several days on our "events calendar."
