Update: Bed Bath & Beyond Debuts in Roseville

Business steady on opening day for home furnishings retailer, store manager says.

 

New York-based Bed Bath & Beyond announced today the opening of its  Roseville store.

The new 26,000 square foot domestic merchandise and home fuirnishings shop is located at 2480 North Fairview Ave., securing a tenant spot at the west end of Rosedale Commons which is located just north of Rosedale Center.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. 

Dan Dahlberg,manager of Bed Bath's Roseville store, said buiness on the first day "has been very steady. It's been a constant flow (of customers)."

Dahlberg added that his company is glad to be in Rosevlle and to take over the retail spot that was once home to a Linen N' Things store. Beyond just being in Roseville, the store's workforce of some 35 full- and part-time employees is comprised mainly of Roseville residents.

"We really wanted  to focus on the local community," Dahlberg said.

The Roseville store is Bed Bath & Beyond's 11th store in Minnesota. The company also has locations in Bloomington, Rochester, Apple Valley, Coon Rapids, Maple Grove, Eagan, Woodbury, Minnetonka, St. Cloud and Duluth.


In a statement, BB&B CEO Steven Temares said,"We are committed to providing exceptional customer service, a broad and deep assortment and great value to our customers.  We look forward to continuing these traditions in our new Roseville store.”

BB&B merchandise includes bed linens, bath accessories, window treatments, framed art, kitchen linens, cookware, dinnerware, glassware and closet and storage items. The company touts each of its departments as a store within a store that is staffed with knowledgeable sales associates.
Founded in 1971, Bed Bath & Beyond as of late May had about had 980 stores in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada. Since 1985, the retailer has stuck with a superstore format that generally ranges from 23,000 to 50,000 square feet, the company said.

Bath Bed&bath even with over 10ys retail and college . Damn Sham. U shouldnt have ti be somewhere for 6 tres ti get over look . Cause the other guy just look smart.
