Getting Wild in Roseville! Pro Hockey Team Practice Headed For OVAL

News from the city of Roseville: 

The National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild will hold an outdoor practice on at noon, Sunday, Jan. 22 at the John Rose OVAL, 2661 Civic Center Drive, Roseville.

The outdoor practice will cap off a hockey-themed weekend that starts with Hockey Day Minnesota on Saturday, Jan. 21.

The practice is free and open to the public. Fans who stick around after the practice can enjoy open skating beginning at 2 p.m.

Parking at the Oval is limited, so fans are encouraged to arrive early for the festivities. Practice is subject to cancellation if there are extreme weather conditions.

The Guidant John Rose MN OVAL is the largest outdoor refrigerated skating facility in NorthAmerica, featuring a 110,000 square foot surface used for speedskating, bandy, hockey, skating and hockey in the winter and inline skating in the spring, summer and fall.

The OVAL has hosted events such as World Cup Speedskating, World and National Bandy Championships, and Aggressive Skating and Biking competitions. For more information on the Minnesota OVAL, visit www.cityofroseville.com/OVAL.
