Lexington Plaza Subway Moving

The popular sandwich shop will be getting new quarters.

The Subway at the Lexington Plaza shopping center in Roseville is moving...down the line.

The popular sandwich shop, 1748 Lexington Ave., will be relocating at the south end of its block, taking over vacant quarters that will double its current space, according to Dominic Chenois, Subway store manager.

"We are hoping to move in mid- to late January," Chenois told Roseville Patch. "It will be a new store with a bigger lobby and more seating. We are all pretty excited."

By taking space at the south end of the block, Subway hopes the move also provides more convenient parking for customers, he added.

Lexington Plaza is located near the intersection of Lexington and Larpenteur avenues, one of Roseville's prime retail districts.

I was originally going to say, " noooo......please don't move". But then I read that it's just down the block. Phew! This is the best Subway around! Always great service, the food is always right on (unlike the others in the area), and it's a great location. Now knowing that you'll have more seating space, I think it'll be a great change! Congratulations on your move!
