MnDOT Update: Watch Out for the Turkey!

MnDOT crews rescued a young turkey near the North Central Projects Office near I-694 and brought it the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota in Roseville.

This construction update from the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT):

"A young turkey (called a poult) was found and rescued at the I-694 North Central Projects office earlier this week and taken to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota in Roseville.

The youngster had apparently been left behind by his family, according to staff from the WRC. After being turned over to the center, the chick was left in the capable hands of a veterinarian."
