New Roseville Senior Complex Nears Completion

United Properties' Cherrywood Pointe will have 80 units.

Cherrywood Pointe of Roseville, United Properties' first senior project that will include some assisted living and memory care units, is moving closer to completion.

The 80-unit senior living community will be located at 2996 Cleveland Ave. N next to United Properties’ current senior housing co-op, Applewood Pointe of Roseville at Langton Lake.

Cindy Leach, housing manager for Cherrywood Pointe, said this week she anticipates residents will be able to start moving in by the first part of September.

"We are proud of the (Roseville) community and to be a part of this process of starting a new (senior) community and providing excellent care all the way around," Leach said.

Cherrywood Pointe will include a wide range of options for residents to choose from, including independent living, assisted living and personalized memory care. Prices for independent units will range from $1,130 a month for a studio apartment to $2,245 for the largest two-bedroom apartment.

Prices for studio apartments for the memory care units will run $3,000 to $3,200 a month, according to a Cherrywood Pointe flyer.

Leach said Cherrywood Pointe's large array of amenities and services will include a full-service dining room, full-time activities director, fitness room, theater and bar coffee, great room, on-site beauty and barber shop, library and housekeeping.

United Properties has enlisted Ebenezer Management Services, a  subsidiary of Fairview Health Services, to manage Cherrywood Pointe. There will be a home care staff in the building 24/7, Leach said. "The Ebenezer staff will grow as the need of the residents change."

Intially, Leach expects to hire a staff of about 20 people

Brian Carey, senior vice president at Minneapolis-based United Properties, said in a news statement last fall that Cherrywood Pointe will complement the adjacent Applewood Pointe of Langton Lake senior co-op.

"The addition of Cherrywood Pointe assisted living will provide an easy transition in the event a need for services arises, providing residents with the option of making a housing transition while staying connected to their neighbors,” he said.
