Northwestern College Professor's "Good Riddance" Tweet Stirs Strong Reaction
Kent Kaiser, a communications professor and staunch Republican, said he had several bad interactions with now deceased Stillwater blogger Karl Bremer.
Local Twitter politicos were all abuzz Wednesday about a tweet from Northwestern College communications professor Kent Kaiser on the death of Karl Bremer, a Stillwater blogger dubbed by some in the media as a "nemesis" of U.S Rep. Michele Bachmann.
In an initial post on Twitter, Kaiser tweeted "good riddance" upon learning this week of Bremer's demise, according to City Pages. That comment from the Roseville college professor, in turn sparked an angry backlash.
Later, Kaiser deleted the controversial tweet and apologized for his comment, City Pages reported. But not before WCCO TV political reporter Pat Kessler had retweeted Kaiser's comment and others on Twitter and the blogosphere found out about it.

It's really no surprise that such a harsh, uncharitable comment should come from a professor at a "Christian" college. Like Jesus Karl Bremer spoke truth to power. But people like Mr. Kaiser who call themselves "Christian" in their behavior and values have come to look much more like Caeser than Jesus. So sad.
