The sudden resignation of Roseville HS Boys Hockey Coach, Jeff Pauletti is a perfect example of he said, they (parents & others) said concerning allegations that he and assistant coach, Carl Hamre bullied some of his players over the past year(s). During this whole discussion of bullying not one person on the schoolboard, or outside of the schoolboard has clearly defined what bullying is in this case. Is it a coach getting mad at their players for not executing what they are taught by the coach(s) to do, or is it a coach who goes over the line of sportsmanship and civility to directly call out a player(s) or the team for blankety blank being the worst team he's ever coached. Sports, and coaching sports is very emotional and at times can reach a peak in the heat of the battle. Now, does that excuse a coach, player or fans to go over the edge in derogatory comments meant to hurt ones feelings to the point of not participating in the future? No! However, in this case everyone is a loser, particularly the student athletes. My advice for the future? Make sports a game and fun again and lets just all please get along!
