PHOTOS: Crowds Flock to International Festival at Roseville's Brimhall Elementary
Food, games, entertainment attract hundreds to annual school event.
The students, teachers and parents of Brimhall Elementary School on Friday evening, April 27, held their annual International Festival.
Festivities included games, crafts, an outdoor obstacle course, a selection of ethnic foods, a wide variety of desserts, a silent auction and other fun activities for families.
Diane Kaphing, Brimhall volunteer coordinator, said the event attracts upwards of a 1,000 people. This year's theme was Europe.

I have not attended this wonderful event for a few years now but am delighted to hear that Diane Kaphing is still at Brimhall as a volunteer coordinator. She is a huge asset to the Brimhall community. For many years Brimhall, like most other District 623 schools and programs, has been very fortunate to have a strong volunteer program. Things like the International Festival would not be possible without great employees like Diane and so many terrific volunteers. Many kudos to District 623 employees and volunteers for working together to create community. As for my favorite part of the festival in past years, I'd have to say that I always especially enjoyed the grand finale of the evening - the music by the intergenerational international choir. The whole event was always very fun!

RAYHA worked the Hockey shoot booth at Brimhall again this year. Jeff and Ann Johnson, Carter Olson, and all of their kids pitched in to run it for Brimhall. RAYHA provides all of the prizes for the event, so it is a great deal for the school. Had long lines of happy hockey players this year!
