Celebrating Roseville's Remodeled Best Buy

The company's Roseville store slated to have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for grand re-opening.

The Best Buy store in Roseville will celebrate a series of remodeling changes with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday (Aug. 18) morning.

The grand re-opening for the consumer electronics retailer is scheduled to start at 8:45 a.m. with the store, 1643 County Road B2, slated to open at 9 a.m. for regular business.

Remodeling at Best Buy's 45,000 square-foot Roseville store has included lowering the height of department shelving and incorporating new stores-with-in-a store-Magnolia Design Center and Pacific Sales bath and kitchen.

Best Buy's Roseville store upgrade is a part of its company-wide efforts to focus  selling and make its consumer offerings more attractive to shoppers. That push comes in the wake of Best Buy's financial struggles as it faces increased pressure from other retailers such as Wal-Mart Stores and Minneapolis-based Target.

Earlier this spring, Best Buy announced plans to close 50 big-box stores as part of a restructuring to cut costs.

Best Buy Co. is in reactionary mode after seeing the competition like Target, Walmart Amazon and other online retailers fly right by them! With today's savvy shoppers, price is often the reason consumers will choose to purchase their products from these companies. Along with customer service, generous warranties and somewhat liberal return policies.
