Roseville Fire Fighters Douse Car Fire

The vehicle fire was quickly extinguished Sunday afternoon.

The Roseville Fire Department on Sunday afternoon quickly doused a car fire at the 2200 block of Fernwood St., according to a report from Twin Cities Fire Wire.

"Roseville firefighters had just brought a vehicle fire under control when the two struts for the front hood failed, shooting straight into a garage door where they became impaled on Sunday evening," the news service said.

"No injuries were reported and crews cleared the scene in 30 minutes."
