A funeral service for Cecilia A. Oknich, of Roseville, is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday (June 30) at the Cathedral of Saint Paul.

Visitation for Oknich, 82, is being held from 5 to 8 p.m. today(Friday) at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 Dale St.

Known by close friends as “Mitzie,” Cecilia died on June 27. She was a graduate of Washington High School, attended the University of Minnesota, and retired from Ecolab, according to an obituary from Mueller-Bies. 

Cecilia was married for 62 years to her husband Philip Oknich until he passed away a few months ago, according to the obituary.

Cecelia is survived by seven children, Roderick, Dean (Natalee), Mark (Patty), Mary, Theresa (Fran), Joseph (John), Thaddeus (Tam); 14 grandkids, five great-grand kids; and family friend, Roxanne Schultz.

The family prefers memorials to the Minnesota Medical Foundation at the University of Minnesota.
