VIDEO: Roseville's John Marty Advocates A "Real Right To Work."

Measure passes the Senate Judiciary Committee 7-6.


The state Senate Judiciary Committee today by a vote of 7-6  passed a bill that is proposing a "Right to Work" Constitutional amendment be put on the ballot in November. The amendment would make pauying union dues optional.

Roseville state Sen. John Marty opposed the bill, contending that "maybe some of the responsibility of the state is instead of taking away rights from workers have now is to make sure that people who want work can get a job."
