Introduction to Plant Propagation

This is a fun hands-on class where you will get to try a variety of plant propagation techniques. Keep your plants in the U of MN greenhouse to watch them grow and take them home in spring for use in your garden. Propagation techniques will include starting plants from seed, cuttings, division, and grafting. Learn how to graft a hibiscus to get 2 different colors of bloom on the same plant. Includes all fees for plant material and seeds. Learn techniques you can do at home while playing in the dirt.
