Come celebrate the Year of the Snake! at the annual Open House at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center in Roseville!
Either come for your first visit or come back to explore the nature center's exhibits and program offerings. We’re celebrating the Chinese New Year with crafts, displays, and games having to do with snakes - snakes biology, Minnesota snakes, mythical snakes, etc. The HANC Open House is held on the same day as the annual open house at our parking lot neighbor, the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Their open house is your only-once-a-year opportunity to peek behind the scenes at this very busy animal "hospital" so come and get a two-for-one Open House deal!
The Harriet Alexander Nature Center is an oasis of natural beauty and tranquility nestled within the borders of Roseville.

Located within Central Park, the Harriet Alexander Nature Center is 52 acres of forest, marsh, trails and prairies. Providing protection for more than 100 species of animals and plants, the nature center commonly homes painted turtles, rabbits, songbirds and other animals.
