DESCRIPTION:Roseville Area High School will present the beloved classic\,
  &ldquo\;The Sound of Music\,&rdquo\; March 9&ndash\; 11\, at the high s
 chool&rsquo\;s Nielsen Performing Arts Center.\nThe show has been produc
 ed entirely by students\, including the director\, choreographer\, music
  director and technical director.&nbsp\;\n&ldquo\;The Sound of Music\,&r
 dquo\; a musical by Rodgers &amp\; Hammerstein\, is based on the true st
 ory of Maria Von Trapp\, a young woman who leaves her convent in Salzbur
 g\, Austria\, to become governess for seven mischievous children of a re
 tired naval captain. Maria&rsquo\;s sense of humor and adventure\, along
  with her love of music\, win the children over and eventually she and t
 he widowed captain fall in love. The story plays out against the backdro
 p of the beginning of World War II.\n&ldquo\;The Sound of Music&rdquo\; 
 will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday\, March 9 and 10\,
  and at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday\, March 11. Reserved seat tickets are $10 fo
 r adults and $5 for seniors and students. General admission seating is $
 5.\nA special Senior Matinee will be presented on Wednesday\, March 7\, 
 at 1 p.m. This performance is free for area seniors.\nOnline reservation
