Roseville Area High School Band Boosters Musical Extravaganza
The Roseville Area High School Band Booster Club invites music lovers and supporters of music education to its Third Annual Music Extravaganza on Friday, May 4th. Student and faculty musicians will entertain from 5 to 10 p.m. at Roseville Area High School, while attendees enjoy food, a silent auction and the raffling of prize baskets assembled by school band students.
Admission is free for those who wish to listen to the music and bid on the auction items. The festivities also include a spaghetti supper provided by the Little Venetian Restaurant for $8 per person, $30 per family of four or more.
Proceeds from the event will be used to buy new instruments for the band. In 2010, the Extravaganza raised more than $5,000 toward the purchase of two French horns. In 2011, more than $7000 was raised, helping to purchase a baritone saxophone. Topping this year ‘s band needs are a tuba and a bass clarinet, which collectively would cost about $10,000.
Those who can’t attend but wish to donate can contact the Booster Club by email at email@example.com.
