What:  The City of Roseville invites residents to begin their Halloween weekend in style with Count Watts! Roseville Electric is hosting a fun and educational event for families. For the month of October the UEC has been hosting a “Voltage Vampires” exhibit. The exhibit educates the community on the importance of unplugging common at-home items when not in use, as well as other energy-saving tips. This free event will be fun and educational for families with the Halloween themed exhibit and pumpkin carving activity. The best part is, Roseville Electric’s very own Count Watts will be there to hang with the kids and make the idea of saving energy fun!

Other event details for background:

Kids will love this event with Roseville Electric’s very own Count Watts in attendance and pumpkin carving activity where they can learn about “watt vampires” and how to save energy. Kids love Count Watts, and the UEC is expecting up to 25 kids in attendance. Count Watts will be a hit with the kids as he has been so far.  When attendees show their pumpkins at the Count Watts exhibit they will receive a free power strip to take home with them.

Visitors will not leave empty handed, they will receive a ghost themed comic book and directed toward the “10 Steps to Save” and “In Home Audit” informational exhibits. Visitors will also have an opportunity to enter to win a power strip by visiting the exhibit and filling out a ticket with their information and the three biggest “electricity vampires” in their home; winners will be announced on Halloween.
