Funeral Services Set This Morning for Parnell McCabe

Funeral services for Parnell F. McCabe, of Rosevile, are scheduled for 11 a.m. today (Tuesday, Dec. 18) at  The Church of St. Genevieve, 7087 Goiffon Road, Centerville.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Roseville.

McCabe, 91, died this past Wednesday (Dec. 12) surrounded by his family. He was born in Cresco, Iowa and lived most of his life in Roseville, according to his obituary. He was a longtime employee of the Grain Belt Brewery.

McCabe was preceded in death by wife Lois and daughter Susan. Survivors are children Michael, Kevin (Joyce), Timothy, and Maureen (Kevin) Murphy; grandchildren, Shannon Murphy Drifka (Mike Drifka) and Kelly Murphy; sister, Bernice Kurysh; niece,Sharon O’Donnell; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the 130 N Dale St at County Rd B and one hour preceding Tuesday's funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
