Funeral services for Virginia L. Joyce, of Roseville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday (Jan. 11) at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul.
Joyce died on Jan. 1. She was known as "a strong, independent woman who remained active throughout her life," working the last 20 years part-time at the John Traeger Insurance Agency, according to an obituary from Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville.

"Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N Dale at County Rd B and at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church for one hour before the Jan. 11 morning funeral service. Burial is at Calvary Cemetery.
Virginia Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Jim.
Survivors include: sons, Bill (Marlys) and Pat (Sue); grandchildren, Tim (Anne), Michelle (Fred) Boatman, Autumn, and Shannon; great-grandchildren, Shianne, Blake, and Kaleb; other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Second Harvest Heartland. The family wishes to thank Allina Hospice for the care that was given.
