Halloween Spook-tacular Fun Slated Oct. 26 at Harriet Alexander Nature Center

The Harriet Alexander Nature Center in Roseville will be hosting its annual Halloween Spook-tacular from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m Saturday Oct. 26.

The fun-filled night for kids (especially under age 10) will include "ghostly games, devilish demonstrations, a Scooby Doo mystery-themed hayride, a special treat bag, popcorn, and fire-side entertainment," said publicity committee volunteer Nancy Robbins. There will be live animals from the Raptor Center, games at the carnival hall, crafts and refreshments among the numerous activities. 

Hayrides will run from 5:15 to 8:30 pm, with the last hayride starting at 8 p.m.

"Costume-wearing is encouraged but not mandatory - just be sure to dress for the weather," Robbins said. 

Cost is $6 per person with kids required to have an adult accompany them to the event.

The Spook-tacular is presented by Kinderberry Hill Child Development with entertainment supported by Genisys Credit Union.
