Closing Today for the Season: Roseville Leaf Compost Site

The city's compost site closes after today, for the season. But county sites still open until Nov. 30, weather permitting.

Editor's note: This notice is taken from the latest city of Roseville newsletter update:

The Roseville Leaf Compost Site will close for the season today (Wednesday, Nov. 21). It is located on the east side of Dale Street, south of County Road C.

Roseville residents who still have leaves can take them to a free Ramsey County Compost site. Those sites will remain open until November 30, weather permitting. They will also be open the second weekend of the month December through March. Log on to www.co.ramsey.mn.us/ph/index.htm or call Ramsey County at 651-633-3279 for hours and directions.

You can also contact your refuse hauler to remove brush, branches, soil and other yard waste. Garbage haulers in Roseville are required to offer separate yard waste pickup although they may charge extra for it.
