Roseville City-Wide Garage Sale Today

  Bargain hunters looking for clothes, toys and knick-knacks, get ready. The city of Roseville is holding  its fifth annual community-wide garage sale today (Saturday (June 1) with dozens of homes participating in the extravaganza.

The idea for the city-wide garage sale was sparked by resident Mary (Nelson) Sherpa. In a prior Roseville Patch story, Sherpa said she approached Roseville officials in 2008 about holding a community-wide garage sale because she had seen them in other cities like Woodbury and Falcon Heights.
Sherpa said the Roseville garage sale is a great way to attract people from outside the city to come and visit many homes within a short distance. And for residents holding garage sales, the event is a good way to recycle household goods and items they no longer want or need anymore, she said.
