A Secret Santa is at it again!

The Salvation Army said that an anonymous donor plunked $1,000 cash Monday in its Red Kettle stand at the Roseville Byerly's supermarket, according to a Pioneer Press news report Tuesday.

"Affectionately nicknamed "Saint Grand" by the organization, the anonymous donor left 10 $100 bills in a tightly wadded bundle," the newspaper reported. "The donation is believed to be the third left by Saint Grand this year. The first was discovered on Nov. 17."

Last year, Roseville was among places in the metro area and the state that had a string of anonymous holiday season donations of $1,000 in red kettles, Patch reported. Seven donations of $1,000 were left in red kettles at Rosedale Center on Nov. 21, 2011. Another donation showed up in a red kettle at the Har-Mar Mall Cub Foods in Roseville on Nov. 29, 2012.

"We call the person 'Saint Grand' because we don't know if it's a him or her," according to Annette Bauer, a spokeswoman for the Salvation Army. "It's very saintly of them to keep donating anonymously."
