Estevez, Sheen Find "The Way" To Roseville

Special preview screening of new movie slated today (Tuesday) at AMC Rosedale 14.

Hollywood stars Emilio Estevez and Martin Sheen are bringing their cross-country bus tour today (Tuesday) to Roseville to promote their new movie "The Way."

An exclusive view of "The Way" is scheduled  at 6:30 p.m. at AMC Rosedale 14, 850 Rosedale Center.

An official with Allied Marketing, which is handling publicity, could not be reached immediately for comment.

But Liz Ostrander, senior marketing manager for Rosedale, said Sheen and Estevez are scheduled for a Q and A session after the movie. She didn't know if the stars planned to sit through the showing of the movie or arrive more near the coonclusion of the preview.

On Monday, Estevez and Sheen stopped at the Maple Grove Walmart Sept. 12 to promote The Way.

The movie stars took an hour to meet fans and sign autographs, followed by an exclusive showing at the Maple Grove AMC. Hundreds turned out for the signing, although only about 125 were able to make it through the line before Sheen and Estevez left.

Selected theaters will be showing the The Way Oct. 7 and it opens nationwide Oct. 21, according toThe Way website. The movie was written and directed by Estevez.
