Northwestern College Christmas Concert Tonight

The college's students and faculty will also present a mix of religious and secular holiday favorites on Saturday and Sunday too.


Nearly 300 students and faculty from Northwestern College will present their  annual choral, band and symphonic Christmas concert with the first performance set for tonight (Friday) at Maranatha Hall at the Roseville campus.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. today (Friday) and Saturday, respectively. There is also a performance slated for 4 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 9).

The Northwestern College Choir, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Women’s Chorale and Men’s Chorus will perform a variety of Christmas music, according to the college. The program ranges from Tchaikovsky’s “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies” (The Nutcracker Suite) to Mannheim Steamroller’s Gloria in excelsis Deo, including faculty Phil Norris’ arrangement of Joy to the World to Babbie Mason’s A Great Joy! and many more.

Ticket prices are $14 for adults and $9 for seniors (65 and older) and students.
