Roseville Holiday Craft Fair Concludes Today at City Hall

Sale items include soaps, fine jewelry, photography, pottery, knitted items and paintings.

The ninth annual Holiday Craft Fair concludes today (Sunday) with the vendors selling their crafts and art items from noon to 4 p.m. at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive.

Spread out over two levels, nearly 50 local crafters and artists are selling their all-handmade wares including soaps and balms; natural stone, fused glass, beaded and other fine jewelry; photography; pottery; knitted items and paintings. Admission and parking are free.

Debbie Schunk, of Roseville, and Lisa Bardeaux, of Eden Prairie, selling eco-friendly knitted fiber art and craft items including mittens and scarves. The two sisters go under the name "The Wicked Stick Sisters" and this is their first craft fair. 

Don Bendickson; 85, of Shoreview; selling watercolor paintings and prints.

Girl Scout Troop 50217 (from Roseville Area High School) selling lotion candles, recycled glasses, wrapped sugar scrubs and bath salts and balms. On Saturday, Troop members Madeleine Logeais and Ann Dion said they were raising money for a service trip.

Jim DuRose and Jessica Shimek  as Dad & Kiddo Pottery and Jes Lee Studios. The father and daughter team are selling hand-made pottery,  and photography. DuRose is the owner of the Countryside Restaurant in Roseville.

Stuart and Sarah Lenz, a husband and wife team from Roseville, selling pottery and metal sculptures. The couple said they participate in three to four craft fair shows a year.

Besides a wide array of craft and arts vendors, there’s also a special silent auction fundraiser by the Friends of Roseville’s Harriet Alexander Nature Center (FORHANC). Money raised in the silent auction goes toward increasing FORHANC’s contribution to interior improvements at the nature center, park of Roseville Parks and Recreation’s Master Plan.

The Holiday Craft Fair is put on by volunteers from the Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC).
