"Words of Wisdom" Quilts on Display at City Hall

Members of the Minnesota Contemporary Quilters will have their work on display in the first floor hallway at Roseville City Hall until April 20.

If you stop by Roseville City Hall in the next few weeks, a variety of artistic quilts will greet you in the first floor hallway, according to a post on the city's website.

The quilts are from the following members of the Minnesota Contemporary Quilters: Joy Hedlund, Edith Anne Dalleska, Mary Pendergrass, Susan Stein, Peggy Wright and LaVonne Batalden. The women created the quilts for the organization's 2012 challenge theme: Words of Wisdom.

"Some quilters took the theme seriously and others had a light-hearted approach to their words of wisdom. Some quilts have a single word and others are quite wordy."

The quilts will be displayed until April 20.
