Beckett Grading Visiting Roseville Sports Card Shop Today

If you have unearthed some old baseball cards from your attic or simply have been collecting sports cards for years and wonder what they are worth, there's a place you can go to today to get an answer.

The Three Stars Sportscards  shop in Roseville will host representatives from Beckett Grading. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today (Saturday). The store is located at 2825 Hamline Ave N.

Beckett is a sports card grading service that is making its first visit to the Twin Cities  area in several years, according to Three Stars Sportscards, a retailer who buys and sells sports cards. A Beckett representative will be accepting submissions for grading and autographed items for JSA (James Spence Authentication), according to Three Stars.

Besides carrying a wide selection of collectibles, and discounts on wax purchases on Saturday, Three Stars Sportscards said it will give away prizes at 4 p.m. for customers that submit cards to Beckett. Prizes include t-shirts, gift certificates, Topps factory sets, and a 1990 Fleer Update BGS 9.5 Emmitt Smith Rookie.

Three Stars Sportscards carries a variety of baseball, football, basketball and hockey cards including unopened packs and boxes and more than 200,000 singles cards for sale, according to its web site.
