Lots of Buzz on Retailer Returning to Roseville

The return of this merchant to its original location in Roseville has got plenty of people talking.

News earlier this month that Cost Plus World Market plans to re-open its Roseville store in the same location where the retailer shuttered operations about three years ago has stirred quite a bit of excitement in the community.

Since posting this story, Roseville Patch has received several comments on the imminent reopening of World Market, a California-based retailer of home decor, furniture and gourmet foods. (Cost Plus World Market's 20,000 square-foot store will be at 2401 Fairview Ave. N. and its grand reopening is scheduled for Sept. 13.)

Here is a sample of what readers have been saying about the news:

Roseville Ranger: I can't wait!

Nancy Applequist: This is the most exciting news I've heard for a long time. I loved that store so much and was sad when it closed and left Minnesota. Yeah...I'm glad they're reopening!

Katie Wohl: Love it love it love it. They need to have the beer and wine sales to go along with it though, it makes for a complete shopping experience.

Barb Nickelsen: Totally loved World Market. Would buy there over Target, BBB, etc. I hope they get their liquor license - made it easy to try some different wines when the price point was so inexpensive! Also loved their kitchenware and the gourmet foods from around the world. They had great stuff at Xmas, too!
