McGough Construction Wins Annual General Contractor Award

Honor goes third straight year to Roseville-based firm.

For the third consecutive time, Roseville-based McGough Construction has been named General Contractor of The Year by the Metropolitan Economic Development Association (MEDA).

Noting McGough's collaboration with Salah Tarraf and Tarraf Construction since 2003, MEDA chief executive Yvonne Cheung Ho said in a statement, "We are very pleased to recognize McGough’s commitment to utilizing minority- and women-owned contractors and their active participation in the CPP (Construction Partnering Program)."  Sponsors of the CPP include the city of St. Paul and the Association of Women Contractors.
In a press statement, McGough Construction President Tom McGough Jr. said, "We applaud the efforts of the Construction Partnering Program and everyone who supports minority- and women-kowned businesses. Our valued partnership with Tarraf Construction and Salah Tarraf has enriched our companies."

Founded in 1956, McGough also has offices in Phoenix, Ariz. and St. Cloud and Rochester, Minn.
