Minnesota Department of Veteran Affairs Launches New Site With the Help of High Monkey Consulting

PRESS RELEASE - July 12, 2013

High Monkey Consulting, a provider of consulting services that create intuitive and easy to use websites and portals, is pleased to announce the launch of a new website for the Minnesota Department of Veteran Affairs (MDVA).

High Monkey provided MDVA with usability studies, wireframe designs, a new information architecture, a complete redesign of the website’s “look and feel”, and implemented the Tridion CMS platform.  The project included the evaluation, migration, and management of content and the integration of resources from several veteran support sites.

According to Joel Baglien, VP of Business Development at High Monkey, “As a veteran and the son of a veteran, the MDVA website was a meaningful project for me.  We had very active participation from veterans and their family members in usability studies we conducted and in the development of the information architecture of the MDVA website.  Listening to the voices of those who served and their families had a tremendous impact on how we were able to make the MDVA website intuitive and easy to use.”
