Rose Parade Has Something For Everyone
Marching bands, clowns, floats, princesses and lots of people throwing candy highlighted the 2011 Rose Parade Monday
The 21st Annual Roseville Rose Parade wowed hundreds of spectators, as usual, as participants marched, rode, drove and played their way on a glorious sumemr evening Monday.
Ninety entrants participated in the parade, including 12 high school marching bands, several floats, dozens of area royalty, lots of clowns, street performers and members of community and state organizations.
The clowns, bands and anyone throwing candy to the kids who lined the route were the most popular over the course of the three-hour parade.

Rosefest 2011 continues today with a blues fest, a wellness fair and a medallion hunt. The city festival events continue through the Fourth of July.
