A Small House Fire, Police Department Honor and a Controversial Tweet-Roseville Rewind

A look at some of the top news stories of the past week on Roseville Patch.

Roseville firefighters quickly contained a house fire on Thursday in the 2000 block of Geisman Street.

There was a small living room fire that firefighters extinguished, with no injuries or any major house damage, Roseville Fire Chief Tim O'Neill said in an interview on the scene with Patch. Later,the  cause of fire was determined to be"accidental," O'Neill said.
