Snow's Done But Temperatures Plunge in Roseville

MnDOT reports roads in "fair" condition.

The snow is mostly done falling around Roseville—now it's the temperature's turn.

According to the National Weather Service, the Twin Cities got about 10.5 inches of snowfall. As of the 9 a.m. hour today (Monday), the temperature had plunged to 12 degrees in Roseville.

MnDOT rated road conditions on most Twin Cities highways as "fair," although side streets could be another story. (You can also check Patch's Commute map.)

Despite all the snow, Roseville Pubic Schools started classes on time and there were no cancellations, according to a district spokeswoman.

A word to the wise: Bundle up and layer winter clothing, leave lots of time to travel and take it easy on the speeds.
