Good'Pellas In Concert

Good ‘Pellas, the Roseville Area High School (RAHS) a cappella group, will present its annual holiday concert of seasonal carols and sacred songs at 7p.m. on Dec. 20 at Roseville Lutheran Church. Proceeds from the concert will help fund the school’s Cantus Certus choir trip to perform at the American Choral Directors Association(ACDA) 2013 National Convention in Dallas.

Concertgoers are invited to join the choirs for a meet and greet with refreshments at the church following the Good ‘Pellas concert.

For Cantus Certus, the school’s top auditioned mixed choir, the invitation to perform at the ACDA convention in Dallas is a tremendous honor and opportunity. It has been 32 years since a Minnesota high school choir was invited to perform at the choral directors’ convention, and Cantus Certus will be one of only four high school choirs to perform at the 2013 gathering.Choir members and Choir Director Dean Jilek fully appreciate that they will represent not only RAHS, but also Minnesota and the entire Upper Midwest.
