Gold Rush Days

GOLD RUSH DAYS! Take a step back in time to 1853 where gold was king in Grass Valley and Nevada County.

People came from all over the world to mine here with the hope of hitting "the Mother lode." On June 21, 22 the Grass Valley Downtown Association with help from the merchants will turn Mill and Main Streets back in time. Costumed vendors, merchants, dressed windows and more! This is all FREE admission and FREE parking! We are even opening up additional parking at the permit lots! Gold pan with the Empire Mine, watch a real blacksmith at work, take an old time photo at True Grit studios and grab a real Cornish pastie and a sip of sarsaparilla! The fun starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday until 6 p.m. and then join us for an old-fashioned "hoe down" and a chuckwagon BBQ. Event is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Then  join us on Sunday Morning for "Cowboy Church at 9 a.m. followed by a Hospice of the Foothills pancake breakfast
pancake breakfast (proceeds to benefit Hospice of the Foothills) for only $5   We have lots in store for ya! So "mosey on over" historicgrassvalley.com
