Problem with Pumpkins?

Those carved pumpkins, last night's Halloween delight, are now on the decline. So, what to do with them?

Editor's note: The following information is from the city of Roseville's weekly news update:

The goblins are gone; the treats are eaten. Now there’s one more Halloween clean up chore – putting your pumpkins in their proper place.

Pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns and other yard waste make great compost. Remove all candles and hardware, and toss the pumpkins in your backyard compost bin and let them decompose over the winter.

Or take your pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, corn stalks and hay bales to the FREE Ramsey County yard waste sites. There’s one on the Pierce Butler Route in St. Paul and another off New Brighton Road in Arden Hills.

Find more information on Ramsey County's website or call 651-633-3279. Calls are answered 24 hours a day.
