Funeral Service Set Saturday for Bill Bailey, of Roseville.

Bailey, 87, was a a WWII vet, an independent trucker.

Funeral services for William Anson Bailey, of Roseville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at 910 W. County Road D, Roseville.

Interment at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Bailey, known as "Bill Bailey," died on Tuesday, April 17. He was 87-years-old.

He was a World War II veteran who served as a Marine corporal on Midway Island, Pearl Harbor, Guam, Saipan, and Japan. When he returned home, he became an independent trucker.

Family and friends knew him as a hard worker with a great sense of humor.

Preceded in death by the love of his life, Loretta.

Survived by daughters, Marilyn (Jerry) Auge and Jackie (Jim) Brasuhn; son, Mike (Ann); grandchildren, Tony, Marty, Josie, Cooper, jack, and soon to arrive Baby Bailey; special friend, Anne Hanson.
