Roseville  firefghters, along with the Lake Johanna Fire  Department, responded to the scene after a call from the restaurant.

“They had one worker who noticed a wall discoloring and was hot to the touch,” O’Neill said. Fire officials determined heat from the wall was 185 degrees, he said. “We opened up the wall and found a small electrical fire. We proceeded to extinguish it.”

An official at the restaurant declined, only noting he expected the sports grill and bar to reopen later Saturday evening.

O’Neill estimated the fire damage at about $1,000.

About two hours earlier, the two fire departments responded to a third-floor apartment fire at Rosewood Estates North, 2835 Rice St, O’Neill said. The fire was contained to the apartment’s kitchen, causing several thousand dollars, he said.

One person suffered minor burns and another had smoke inhalation, O’Neill said, adding that both were treated on the scene and released.
