Senser Denied Appeal in Vehicular Homicide Case
The driver who struck and killed a Roseville man on I-94 in August 2011 was denied appeal Monday of the guilty verdict in her criminal vehicular homicide case, according to a WCCO report.
In May 2012, a jury convicted Senser, the wife of former Minnesota Vikings star Joe Senser, of two counts in the hit-and-run death of Anousone Phanthavong, 38, who worked as a chef in Minneapolis.
From the WCCO report:
The court on Monday said, “Our careful review of the record in its entirety convinces us that Senser received a fair trial. The evidence presented here was more than sufficient to show that she left the scene of an accident despite knowing that she had struck a car or a person.”

So far, Senser has served 10 months of her 41-month sentence.
