They Had A Fire at Their House, Then iPod Went Missing

Maplewood firefighter accused of taking the electronic device from the burning house.

A Maplewood firefighter allegedly did more than assist Roseville firefighters put out a recent house fire in Roseville _ He also took an iPod from the home, according to Fox 9 News.

"An iPod Touch with a Julius the Monkey cover was left on the kitchen table when the flames broke out, but it disappeared during the fire and police believe monkey business was involved," the news station reported this week. "Two days after the fire, the family used a tracking device on the iPod to see if they could find it. Much to their surprise, it popped up in the parking lot of the Maplewood Fire Department, which had helped Roseville firefighters with the call.

"Investigators found the iPod in a car belonging to 31-year-old Nick Hendrickson, a Maplewood firefighter and paramedic," Fox news noted.

Hendrickson allegedly told police officials he took the iPod for safe keeping, then forget he had left the device in his car, according to Fox News.
