Council Recruiting For a Consultant in City Manager Hiring

Council's search comes in the wake of last month's resignation of Bill Malinen.

The Roseville City Council is in the midst of seeking a consultant to help it recruit  a new city manager.
According to city Human Resources Manager Eldona Bacon, the Council's request for proposal (RFP) document  has been sent to 12 firms nationally for consideration.
"Bids are 4 due by noon on June 19, 2013," according to her staff report.
The city is seeking a new city manager following the resignation of Bill Malinen last month. In the mean time, the Council has appointed Roseville Director of Community Development Pat Trudgeon as interim city manager.
The Council is expected tonight (Monday, June 10) to form a city committee to review bids from consultants and  direct city staff to proceed with the bid review and evaluation process.
The City Council meeting is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive.  Click this link to see the complete Council agenda.
