Is This an Accident Waiting to Happen?

One Roseville resident questions the safety of driving through the street in front of the Sienna Green apartments.

One Roseville resident is worried that tight parking conditions at the Sienna Green apartments in Roseville are an accident waiting to happen.

"They (city officials) say it's safe." said the resident, who asked to remain anonymous. But most mornings, he  finds cars parked on both sides of this stretch of Snelling Avenue.

At a curve in the road, the resident said he notices that cars struggle not to cross  over the center line.

"What happens some morning when someone has to go over the center line to get by these cars, and someone is coming from the other way?," he asked. "There is going to be people hurt or killed."

The resident noted  the Sienna Green parking is usually full, so a number of residents have to park their cars on the street.
"Problem is when they (the city) made the indents (on the road) for them (apartment residents) to park, rather than make them square, they made them curved and people think its safe to park there." the resident said,  "It is just not safe. "
