Letter To The Editor: Scalze, Isaacson, Yarusso Schedule Town Hall Meeting

The three state lawmakers will hold meeting Saturday at Shoreview City Council Chambers.

(Editor's Note: District 42 state Sen. Bev Scalze and District 42B Rep. Jason Isaacson, represent some residents of Roseville. It is the area primarily north and east of County Road C and Snelling Avenue. The following letter is from Rep. Scalze.)

To the editor:

I am pleased to announce District 42’s first legislative town hall meeting of the 2013 session. This will be a joint meeting with Representatives Barb Yarusso (42A, DFL-Shoreview) and Jason Isaacson (42B, DFL-Shoreview) on Saturday Feb. 9th. Rep. Yarusso and I will meet with residents from 9:00 – 10:15 AM.

Then, Rep. Isaacson will join me from 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM to talk with constituents. Both meetings are at the Shoreview City Council Chamber (4600 Victoria Street North).

To help us prepare for the Feb. 9th meeting, we invite you to take a quick survey asking about the issues most important to you and your family. To access the questionnaire you can visit my webpage “In Touch with Senator Scalze” by accessing my profile at www.senate.mn/senatorscalze

Town hall meetings are an excellent opportunity for residents to hear about and discuss the important issues their legislators are addressing at the Capitol. I anticipate an educational and thoughtful discussion with the folks of District 42. We are doing a lot of work at the Capitol this session and I want to keep the lines of communication with people back home as open as possible.

If you cannot attend the town hall meeting, but are interested in legislative activities, please contact me via email at: sen.bev.scalze@senate.mn or call my office at (651) 296-5537.

I look forward to our conversation on Saturday Feb. 9th.

Sincerely,

Bev Scalze
