Local House Reps Laud Dayton's State of the State Speech

Hausman, Isaacson voice their general support for the governor.

Two Roseville-area state representatives  _ District 66A Rep. Alice Hausman and District 42B Rep. Jason Isaacson _ have voiced general support for Gov. Mark Dayton's State of the State address this week.

Here are statements from the two state lawmakers, who each represent parts of Roseville:

Hausman (DFL-St. Paul):  “I was gratified to hear Gov. Dayton present his ideas during the State of the State address tonight. As the legislature crafts its budget, it is important to include some of the excellent ideas the governor talked about. Our budget will be different than the governor’s but will reflect the same priorities; responsible and long term budget stability and investments in education and infrastructure.”

Isaacson (DFL-Shoreview):  “I commend Governor Dayton for laying out a bold vision for our state. After a decade of deep cuts, I’m excited to continue working with my colleagues and the Governor to invest in our children’s education and balance the budget in a way that is fair and responsible.

"We should be doing everything possible to make sure our young people are prepared to succeed in an increasingly competitive global economy. It’s time to roll up our sleeves and work together to build a better Minnesota.”
