Monday Meeting Preview For Roseville City Council

New fire station plans, utility rate hike and 2012-2013 budget and tax levy are among items on the agenda.

Money will be on the mind of the Roseville City Council tonight (Monday).

Council members are scheduled to continue discussion on the 2012-2013 tax levy and budget. They are also slated to discuss proposed increases for residential utility rates in 2012.

Also on the agenda is a review of conceptual drawings for a new city fire station in place of an existing station that will be soon torn down due to it being an aging building with mold issues. The new estimated $8 million fire station would be built just north of City Hall on land that Roseville already owns and would become a single facility replacing three structures that are spread across the city.
