Roseville School Board Delays Special Meeting for Preliminary Levy

State government shutdown delays information the district needs to set levy.

A special meeting of the Roseville District 623 School Board to set a preliminary levy, originally set for today (Tuesday) has been rescheduled to Oct. 4.

The board was originally planned to set the preliminary levy Sept. 13, but was unable to do so because it had not received required information from the state, due to the budget shutdown last summer. On Sept. 13, the board set two alternative dates to set the preliminary levy: Sept. 27 or Oct 4.

Because the needed information is still not available, the board has now set Oct. 4 to set the preliminary levy. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the District Center, 1251 County Road B2 W.
