Lisa Laliberte on Tuesday led a field of seven candidates for Roseville City Council, winning the Primary Election where three other contestants will also move on to the November general election.
In unofficial results, Laliberte picked up 1,377 votes or 22.35 percent of all ballots casts in placing first.
Runner-up was Jason Etten, who received 1,333 votes or 21.64 percent of all ballots. Karen Schaffer, who garnered 1,280 votes or 20.81 percent of the total ballots, and Bill Hoffman, who received 860 votes or 13.96 percent of the total, placed third and fourth, respectively.
Hoffman edged out Peter Strohmeier, who got 806 votes or 13.08 percent of the total.
Placing a distant sixth and seventh were Gerry McDonald ( 317 votes or 5.15 percent of the total ballots) and Liane Gale (186 votes or 3.02 percent of ballots casts).
Altogether, there 6,161 votes cast.
